WorkPartners Occupational Health Specialists will open its newest clinic location in San Diego County on October 14, 2019. The new facility is located at 1510 Sweetwater Road, Suite B, National City CA 91950.
“For all our South County partners who have entrusted us with the care of their employees and have endured the drive north to be able to access our clinics, we’re excited to announce that the wait is over!” CEO Gene Ma, MD said of the new location. “We’re equally excited for all the businesses that have yet to experience the WorkPartners difference to get to see first-hand the exceptional, comprehensive services we offer in addition to the overall value proposition for their organization,” said Ma.
“Employers across the county are frustrated by the poor communication, long wait times, lack of access to appointments, poor service to their employees, and lack of expertise in occupational medicine that drives excess costs into a claim,” says Dr. Ma. “We set out to fix these issues that have plagued this industry, and our growth is a direct reflection of how our partners feel we are addressing these employer frustrations.”
Services offered at WorkPartners clinics across the county include work-related injury care, drug and alcohol screening, hearing testing, physical exams, and vaccinations to name a few. All clinics have on-site digital radiology, and physical and occupational therapy. National City will be WorkPartners’ largest clinic location and will offer extended hours on weekdays and Saturdays.
Dr. Randall Browning, Chief Medical Officer for WorkPartners, is excited about the expansion to the South Bay region. “The relationship we have built with employers and insurers is special. We truly value each and every partnership, and we are all thrilled to be able to bring this next phase of services to San Diego County and expand those relationships even further,” said Browning.
Browning, who has over thirty years of experience in occupational health says, “Our staff is specially trained in occupational medicine and understands what it takes to get injured employees back to work. We truly believe that our choice to focus exclusively on occupational medicine brings a much-needed service to employers across San Diego County. We know that Workers’ Compensation is complex, and we are proud to offer expert staff to our partners. From front office to clinicians to referrals and billing, this is what we do, and it makes a difference in the experience for patients, partners and payers.”
WorkPartners National City will be open Monday – Friday from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. New injuries are always treated on a walk-in basis. Appointments are recommended for all other services and can be booked by calling 619.552.2870.
